Multifunctional Hubs imparting Machining knowledge in all aspects to our customers.

About ACE Tech Centres

Tech Centres are knowledge houses available for our customers to experience & experiment with new machining processes. Our application Engineers provide the customers with products and process know-how and enable effective manufacturing. They are one-stop shops for getting all the information regarding machines, tooling, fixture options, part development, machine applications, and training. They even help customers with part prove outs. Every Tech Centre has a representative selection of CNC Lathes, Machining Centres, and Grinders available for customers to get hands-on experience with these machines. Trained Engineers support in creating awareness of effective utilization, thus leading to improved Profitability for our customers. AceMicromatic CNC Technology Centres are located at: Aurangabad | Bengaluru | Chennai | Coimbatore | Faridabad | Gurgaon | Pune | Rajkot.

Application Engineering

This is one of the core areas of the Tech Centres, where customers are offered assistance with various technical needs such as
  • • Machine selection and feasibility study
  • • Provide suitable work holding & cutting tools
  • • Cycle Time Workout
  • • Process Optimization
  • • Setting & Part Prove-out of prototype components
  • • Application support
Machine audit including evaluation of the process, cutting tools, work hold, cycle time, CNC program, etc.

Hands-on Feel of Machines

Hand-holding new CNC users allow them to explore machining possibilities and prepare them for their long association in the metal cutting business. The representatives at Tech Centres provide Hands-on Training, walk the customers through various machining operations, and explain Handling Techniques along with Do’s and Don’ts of the machine. The practical experience gives the CNC users the confidence to handle the equipment with care and extends the equipment’s life.

Training

To sustain growth in a volatile market, it is important to keep every employee up to date on new technology. Re-training and Upskilling employees improve their knowledge of how to approach and complete tasks better thus saving time and money. Offline Programs on a range of subjects, including how to operate CNC machines, Programming, Machine Maintenance, tool selection, etc. are conducted at regular intervals at each tech centre facility. The training platform enables individuals working on CNC machine tools, to advance their current knowledge, put new ideas into practice, and become more skilled in proportion to their level of expertise. The Training programs provide interaction with industry experts and a platform to evaluate existing processes, methods, and procedures followed, fine-tune the variables to manufacture parts as per GD&T, and maintain the CNC machines to avoid breaks downlinked to operations.

Seminars

Seminars on CNC machining technology related to efficient machine usage, tailor-made programs on advanced programming and maintenance, macro programming, etc., are also administered to cater to the industry’s specific needs. Unlike the standard module, these seminars bridge the skill gaps of a particular group, from the industry expert of the subject. Topics such as advanced programming, Tool selection for Turning, Milling, Grinding processes, Custom macro for various applications, maintenance of sub-assemblies such as spindle, turret mechanism, chuck servicing, etc. promote experiential learning from the experts.

Skill Development Initiatives

With the ever increasing need for Skilled Operators for CNC machines, AceMicromatic Group Technology Centres have embarked upon 3 key Skill Development Initiatives –
  • CNC Operator training which harnesses the potential of a large pool of unemployed non-technical youth and trains them to become skilled CNC machine operators
  • Faculty Development Program wherein an attempt is made to bridge the gap between Industry and Institutions. This involves training the faculty on CNC Machining Technology covering the university syllabus and requirements of the industry
  • Internship Training encourages Engineering Graduates to undergo internship training from the 5th Semester onwards in order to form experiential learning integrating knowledge & theory learned in the classroom with practical application.
