Job Summary
We are seeking a candidate who has work experience in mechanical design engineering experience in a machine tool design and manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilties
1. Responsible for the Design of machine elements, machine tool parts and sub-assemblies with GD & T development and implementation of mechanical elements and sub-systems, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
2. Design for manufacturing; Development of Design documents such as manufacturing drawings, BOM, with due attention to orthographic projections and drawing standards.
3. Machine building; Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing
4. Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision.
5.Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
6. Coordinate with vendor and drive to get the deliverables with high quality
7. Troubleshoot a variety of moderate mechanical problems.
8. Implement concepts for product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficulty.
9. Assist in development of mechanical product specifications based on Market need and Market Research.
10.With supervision establish task priorities.

Pre-requisites
1. Strong knowledge and skill to execute core mechanical engineering design independently.
2. Good knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
3. Requires good skills in change management, problem-solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills, and quality.
4. Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job functions such as Pro/E for Design and MS Office
5. Multi facets of machine building. Knowledge of Machine tools / Electromechanical systems, Developing new ideas, Coordinate manufacturing, assembly, and testing
6. Knowledge necessary to perform the job includes: general knowledge of mechanical engineering design, mechanics, Automation, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and material science concepts and techniques, including strength of materials, thermodynamics, heat transfer, measurement control, stress analysis
